Fees
Our initial 80-minute therapy session will be spent getting to know you, and determining the best course of action. Subsequent therapy sessions will be 50 minutes.
- Initial Intake Interview (80 minutes) – $200
- Individual Psychotherapy Session (50 minutes) – $150
Payment
Payment is due in full at the time of service. You may pay with cash, check, or credit/debit card.
Insurance
I am in-network with BCBS, Optum/United Health Care and Tufts Commercial and public Insurance and Commonwealth Care Alliance. For other insurance, if you would like to use your out-of-network benefits, you will be provided with a receipt of services that you may submit to your insurance company for partial reimbursement. It is advised that you call your insurance company to verify out-of-network coverage for outpatient mental health services.
What questions should I ask my insurance company about Out-Of-Network benefits?
- Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
- Are services rendered by a Licensed Mental Health Counselor covered?
- Is any pre-approval required before obtaining out-of-network mental health services in order to be reimbursed?
- If I have out-of-network benefits, will I be reimbursed the full amount I paid or a portion?
- Do I have a deductible and if so, what is it?
